The Heddolf P294-1KB radio receiver, which replaces the Keystone Heddolf P294-K, is a compact, single-channel, 9-trinary (+, 0, -) code switch, 12 or 24-volt AC or DC, 5-wire type gate or garage door opener radio receiver. It features a wire antenna and an F-connector for adding a remote antenna, making it directly compatible with Allstar, Allister, Pulsar, GTO, and Mighty Mule brand radio controls operating at 318MHz frequency.

This radio receiver has an isolated form "C" N/O, N/C relay contact closure that can be selected for either a 0.5-second pulse or maintained with a remote control signal output, as determined by an internal slide switch. It includes a standard wire-type antenna and also has a standard "F" connector for use with a remote antenna (sold separately), allowing the antenna to be placed remotely for maximum range. The Heddolf P294-1KB is the same radio receiver as the GTO and Mighty Mule RB709 models.

The Heddolf P294-1KB is compatible with the following remote controls to control one device: Allstar, Allister, Pulsar: 931, 9931, 832, 8832, 833, 8833, 9931MT; GTO, Mighty Mule: RB741, RB742, RB743, RB744; and Carper: CX-318-1. Additionally, it is compatible with the Heddolf models P219-1KA, P219-2KA, P220-1KA, P220-1KB, P220-2KA, P220-2KB, P220-3KA, and P220-3KB. However, not all compatible models may be listed.
